The responses to a question sent by a South African lady to all foreigners were less than cordial.

There is total anarchy in South Africa's immigration system. Despite several calls for them to depart, a large number of non-South Africans are still in the country, and some have even stated their intention to stay put. An important question was posed to the globe by a woman with a large rolodex. But nonetheless. The responses were disheartening, with many people expressing skepticism that foreign nationals will really go back to their home countries. Numerous responders assured that they would stay in the country no matter what the situation was. They will always seek out the safest homes they can find, as was previously stated. They flee to their neighbors' houses when theirs fall, and if theirs fall too, they run even faster till they are safe. Something that another individual said From what we can see from the early shutdown, you will be completely isolated. Any and all non-citizens shall be denied entry, regardless of their color or nationality. This holds true in every part of the world. If you happen to be black in South Africa, everyone will turn against you, regardless of race. This includes whites, Indians, blacks, and even Chinese. As far as I'm concerned, the phenomenon of non-citizens settling in our cities is identical to urbanization. If rural residents see better job opportunities in urban centers, they will leave the countryside for those metropolis. Although foreign nationals already living in South Africa may have relocated there in search of better possibilities, they will most certainly seek them out elsewhere if and when those prospects fade. It is our collective duty as South Africans to restore order following the collapse of our government.
